Portillo’s brings Chicago-style street food to Fort Worth

Fort Worth, Texas – Portillo’s, a fast-casual restaurant chain celebrated for its Chicago-style street food, has opened its latest Texas location in Fort Worth. This opening marks the brand’s fourth venture in the state, further expanding its footprint and bringing its signature flavors to more Texan palates.

The grand opening of Portillo’s Fort Worth is set for Thursday, January 11, at 10:30 a.m., following a formal ribbon-cutting event at 10:00 a.m. This event will feature Michael Portillo, the company’s VP of Restaurant Support. In addition to the inaugural festivities, Portillo’s will showcase its commitment to community engagement. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the company will present checks to its charity partners, North Tarrant Food Bank and Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, demonstrating support for their vital community work.

Located at 8789 Tehama Ridge Parkway, the new Portillo’s spans 7,800 square feet. The interior design of the restaurant takes on a classic diner theme, accommodating over 165 guests inside. Additionally, the restaurant boasts a seasonal outdoor patio that can host around 50 more diners. Portillo’s has also incorporated a new Grab and Go display, catering to customers seeking quick and convenient access to food, beverages, and retail items.

Guests visiting Portillo’s Fort Worth can indulge in a variety of beloved menu items. The restaurant is renowned for its Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, and crispy crinkle-cut French fries. A highlight for many is the company’s famous chocolate cake, a dessert that has garnered a dedicated following among Portillo’s customers. This new establishment in Fort Worth is poised to become a go-to destination for those craving a taste of Chicago in the heart of Texas.
