New train station in northeast Fort Worth begins operations

Fort Worth, Texas – Fort Worth has welcomed a significant addition to its public transportation network with the opening of the Trinity Lakes Station, a move set to improve connectivity and convenience for residents and visitors alike.

The Trinity Lakes Station officially began operations on Monday, positioned strategically east of Loop 820 at 7979 Trinity Boulevard. This new hub sits comfortably between the now-closed former TRE Richland Hills station, which ceased operations on February 17, and the existing Bell Station. The introduction of the Trinity Lakes Station, as announced by Trinity Railway Express, marks a notable expansion in the region’s transit infrastructure.

Beyond serving as a vital link for train travelers, the station also facilitates bus connections, offering services on Trinity Metro via routes 23 (Monday through Friday) and 55. This integration of train and bus services is expected to streamline travel plans for countless commuters.

The station’s location is not just strategic for transit purposes but also integrates into the broader vision for the area. It nestles within the 1,600-acre Trinity Lakes master-planned community, which boasts a mix of retail and residential developments.
