Slick roads lead to fatal truck crash in Fort Worth

Fort Worth, Texas – In a tragic turn of events on Thursday night, a driver lost their life after crashing a truck into a duplex in Fort Worth. The incident, which occurred around 8:35 p.m., also led to a fire at the crash site.

The Fort Worth Police were called to the scene at the corner of McCart Avenue and W. Drew Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered that the driver of the truck was already deceased. The exact cause of the crash remains unclear, as does the cause of the driver’s death. Furthermore, the identity of the driver has yet to be confirmed.

Fortunately, the duplex into which the truck crashed was unoccupied at the time, and no other injuries have been reported. However, the extent of the damage caused to the building is still unknown.

The crash occurred on a day when North Texas was experiencing heavy rainfall, resulting in slick driving conditions. This weather factor is being considered as a potential contributor to the crash.
